ByBox helps ensure partygoers arrive in style

Locker delivery solution comes up trumps at the eCommerce awards

ByBox, the company which is orchestrating a distribution revolution in towns and cities across the UK, is proving to be a hot favourite amongst Teens and Tweens, skeletons, super heroes and zombies alike as its unique locker delivery solution continues to make an impact.

The company, in partnership with Jokers’ Masquerade, beat off strong competition for the second time in as many weeks, to win the Best e-Retailer Delivery Award at this year’s eCommerce Awards. Just two weeks ago the companies achieved Highly Commended at the Hermes Retail Week Supply Chain Awards.

Recognising the frustrations of having to wait in all day to receive their favourite fancy dress costumes, Jokers’ Masquerade quickly embraced ByBox’ cutting edge delivery solution in the knowledge that it would make them stand out from the crowd.

Located at supermarkets, petrol stations, shopping centres and railway stations, customers can collect their parcels from ByBox lockers 365 days a year, even on Christmas Day so you can make sure you look your best whatever the theme!

Stuart Miller, Chief Executive and co-founder of ByBox, said: “To win this prestigious award with Jokers’ Masquerade is just fantastic and we are thrilled that our innovative approach to delivery is receiving the recognition it deserves within the eCommerce marketplace.

“The whole dynamic of online shopping is changing and with it so does the delivery function. Traditional delivery methods no-longer meet the demands of modern day shoppers. If you can order online on the move – why would you then want to waste a day waiting in to receive a parcel?

The company has invested millions of pounds expanding its network of lockers this year to double the number of consumer friendly locker sites. As well as other locations, it will be installing further lockers at shopping centres, retail parks and train stations across the UK.

Register now for the Retail Bulletin's 4th Multichannel Retailing Summit, 6th February 2013.The theme of the day is: "Connecting everything in the new omni-channel retailing environment: 360° loyalty solutions to maximise sales effectiveness at every customer touchpoint".
