Boux Avenue to open first airport store
Lingerie retailer Boux Avenue is to open its first ever airport store at Manchester Airports Terminal One next week.
Boux Avenue owner and Dragons’ Den star Theo Paphitis said the company had been considering opening an airport store for some time now. He added: “When the opportunity came up at Manchester and in such a prime location, we jumped at the chance. Manchester is the largest airport outside of London, and with over 21 million passengers a year passing through, it’s a great location for our latest store.”
Manchester Airports Group retail director Beth Brewster said: “We’re delighted to welcome Boux Avenue to our retail portfolio and are thrilled to be their first airport store. Joining us at our busiest time of the year, with nine million passengers expected to travel throughout the summer season, and opening in our flagship terminal, we are confident that this store will be a huge success.”
Launched in 2011, Boux Avenue will have a total of 22 stores across the UK and Ireland when the new airport store opens on 4 August.
