Boots launches new app linked to Boots Advantage Card accounts

Health and beauty retailer Boots has launched a new Boots App which gives customers access to personalised offers via their smartphone instead of through paper coupons.

Working in conjunction with the Boots Advantage Card loyalty scheme, the app gives customers access to the latest offers based solely on their shopping habits with the My Offers feature. Fully personalised, My Offers is regularly refreshed and allows customers to browse through the offers selected for them. They can then add their chosen offers to their Boots Advantage Card to be redeemed in store immediately, without the need for a paper coupon.

Ruth Spencer, director of loyalty and multi–channel at Boots UK, explained: “We know that our customers love to receive personalised offers on the products they use the most, and 87% of our customers use the coupons they receive in their quarterly mailings.

“However over a third of customers tell us they regularly forget to put paper coupons in their purse and can miss out on the best offers for them. The Boots App makes that a thing of the past, ensuring our customers always have access to the offers they want the most, when they want them – not just quarterly.”

The My Offers feature will have a selection of personalised offers available at any one time and will include points deals such as 300 extra points for spending £12 on makeup, and money-off saver deals when customers spend a certain amount.

In addition, the app's barcode scanner feature allows customers to scan any product barcode to get more information and access to customer ratings and reviews.
