Boots announces changes to senior PR team
Boots, the health and beauty products retailer, has announced two new appointments to its senior communications team.
Laura Vergani has joined the retailer from Natixis Global Asset Management as interim PR director.
Reporting to Yves Romestan, director of group communications, Vergani is a former head of media relations at Barclays Global Retail and Commercial Banking.
Una Kent has been appointed as director of external communications at group’s UK pharmacy-led health and beauty business, Boots UK.
Kent will report to Boots UK marketing director Elizabeth Fagan and will be responsible for driving Boots UK’s brand voice and image both from a PR and CSR perspective.
She previously ran her own brand communications consultancy, Wellkent, and has also held senior commumnications roles at Fox Interactive Media and Motorola.
