Booths appoints Paul Minett as retail director
The Booths supermarket chain has appointed former Best Buy UK executive Paul Minett as retail director.
Having previously worked with Asda and Sainsbury’s, Minett was head of retail at the Best Buy UK electronics chain until until 2011. More recently, he has been director of hypermarkets at Saudi Arabia’s Panda United Company.
In his new role, Minett will be responsible for the supermarket’s 29 stores across Yorkshire, Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Cheshire and Cumbria.
Booths chief operating officer Chris Dee said: "We’re pleased to welcome Paul to Booths and we are confident that he has the skills, experience, dedication and drive to take improve and refine our store offering and take the business to another level."
