Biscuiteers appoints Wiggle CEO as chairman

Will Kernan, the chief executive of online cycle retailer Wiggle, has been appointed as chairman of the Biscuiteers luxury biscuit brand.

With extensive experience in the retail sector, Kernan’s past roles include chief executive of The White Company and group managing director of New Look.

Biscuiteers founder and managing director Harriet Hastings said: “Will has vast experience in the premium retail sector and a hugely impressive track record both commercially and strategically. His advice and guidance will be invaluable as we deliver our ambitious strategy for growth over the next few years.”

Biscuiteers’ other board members include Hastings, co-founder Stevie Congdon, Bill Barlow and James Kilpatrick.

Kernan said: “Over the last ten years Harriet and her team have managed to create a whole new sector in the premium gift market along with a unique and standout brand. I am looking forward to supporting the business through the next important stages of its development and build on its already impressive growth”
