Barneys New York promotes Josh Lieberman
Barneys New York has promoted Josh Lieberman to the position of executive vice president of digital.
Previously senior vice president of digital marketing, Lieberman will oversee the entire e-commerce and digital businesses in his new role. This will include responsibility for marketing, merchandising, operations, creative and technology.
Lieberman joined Barneys in November 2012 and has overseen a major revamp of Barneys.com and BarneysWarehouse.com sites, as well as the Barneys New York iPhone and iPad apps.
Daniella Vitale, chief operating officer of Barneys New York, said: “From behind the scenes Josh has really been the driver of our fast growing e commerce business and expanding digital portfolio.
“He has provided incredible leadership, poise and guidance through the ever changing world of technology. We are thrilled that he will now oversee a business unit that will be the force behind Barneys' growth”
