Bally opens London flagship
Designed by David Chipperfield, the 4,320 square foot store is the brand’s first new flagship in over 20 years.
The store’s design was inspired by an archive image of a Bally shop in Switzerland in the 1920s which had been designed by architect and furniture designer Marcel Breuer.
Spanning three floors of retail space, the store’s basement houses the brand’s menswear collection while the ground floor is devoted to womenswear. The first floor area is home to the retailer’s Made to Order, Made to Colour and Shoe Caring services.
The store was officially opened this week with a cocktail party hosted by Bally chief executive Frederic de Narp together with Lupita Nyong’o and Luke Evans.
