Austin Reed to launch tailor made video content on website

Clothing retailer Austin Reed is to introduce a new range of video content on its website aimed at enhancing the customer experience and increasing sales.

Working  with multi-channel video agency Adjust Your Set, Austin Reed will launch a range of bespoke video content on the site featuring information on suits and ties, fit and style guides, as well as a range of  "how to" content.

Due to go live next month, the website will include a dedicated homepage player which will enable customers to engage with the brand by viewing a brand heritage film. A smaller player will be embedded on relevant content pages to help create a seamless customer journey throughout the site.

Steven Thomson, web content manager for Austin Reed Group, said: "At Austin Reed we’re keen to build upon our traditional brand values with 21st century innovation to engage with our customers, both new and existing. We knew video was the ideal medium to bring to life our brand stories and engage with our customers in a dynamic way. Adjust Your Set is the perfect partner to do this with."

Chris Gorell Barnes, CEO of Adjust Your Set, added: "For a brand that prides itself on quality and excellence, video content ensures Austin Reed can capture the detailing of the fabric and craftsmanship that goes into every suit, shirt and tie. The discerning customer no longer wants to read descriptions and look at still images, they want to view the clothing the way it is meant to be seen, across the most accessible channels and devices."
