Argos to sell advertising space
The company described the new offering as "a really compelling opportunity to communicate with UK consumers" and said it will help to diversify its business.
The advertising spaces are yet to be confirmed but are thought to include point of sale materials, posters and flyers as well as the retailer’s catalogue and website.
Argos currently distributes around 30 million catalogues per year from its 700 stores while its website receives around 395 million hits annually.
