Amara expands international business
Amara, the online luxury homewares retailer, has taken its expansion plans one step further with the launch of its French website.
The new site will sit alongside Amara’s existing international sites which cover the UK, USA, Australia and the United Arab Emirates.
France is currently the company’s third largest international region after the USA and Australia.
Amara chief executive Andrew Hood said: “We’ve seen our international business grow year-on-year especially in France where our like for like sales are up by 100%. As France is becoming an important market for Amara we decided to provide a localised website for our existing and future customers.”
The website will be managed from Amara’s UK base with a dedicated French speaking customer services team.
Amara is now looking to expand into other European countries during the next 18 months.
