Agent Provocateur opens L'Agent store at London's Spitalfields
Lingerie brand Agent Provocateur has opened its first European store for its LAgent diffusion line at Londons Old Spitalfields Market.
The signing follows a number of recent openings in and around the market including Blixen, Bailey Nelson, K-Way and Superga. Other new occupiers include Wright Brothers, Bleeker Street Burgers and Joshua Kane Bespoke.
Tribeca and Ashkenazy Acquisition Corporation, advised by joints agents Savills and Cushman & Wakefield, have let a 950 square feet unit to Agent Provocateur at 59 Brushfield Street.
Sarah Goldman, director in central London retail at Savills, said: “The fact Agent Provocateur has opened its first L’Agent European store in OSM, which is only its third globally, demonstrates the strength of the scheme as the go-to destination for boutiques and luxury brands looking for space in East London.
“OSM is an exceptional opportunity to create something unique and bespoke for the varied catchment and the wider London audience. Our client wants to ensure to capitalise on the existing footfall levels of locals, workers and visitors and provide new brands, one off concepts, interesting start ups and the best global offers.”
