Bensons collaborates with Sir Terence Conran

Bensons for Beds has embarked on a new collaboration with furniture designer Sir Terence Conran on the launch of an exclusive new bedframe called Harper.

The move marks the first time that Conran has collaborated with a bed retailer and forms part of Bensons’ new five-point strategy implemented by new group chief executive, Stuart Machin.

Machin said: “Innovation is a key focus for us this year and the Terence Conran partnership forms part of the first phase of our transformation plan for Bensons. The Harper bedframe is a great addition to our existing range and will enable us to attract a wider audience into the brand.”

Made in the UK, the Harper will be available in six seasonal shades including Dove Grey, Natural, Silver, Pewter, Blush and Teal and will be instore from 9 February.

Conran added: “My philosophy has always been to create modern, affordable designs that improve the quality of people’s lives. This is a vision that Bensons shares and that’s why I chose to partner with them and design the new Harper bedframe – an aspirational piece of furniture that is affordable, looks beautiful and is a classic centrepiece for any bedroom.”
