The Hut Group’s technology services division, THG Ingenuity, has signed major partnership agreements with beauty brands Elemis, PZ Cussons Beauty, Burt’s Bees, Nuxe, By Terry and Revolution Beauty.
The health and beauty retailer said the signings are collectively worth more than £100 million and will aim to speed up each brand’s transition towards a direct-to-consumer model to meet growing online consumer demand.
Each brand will use THG Ingenuity’s full range of ecommerce solutions including its proprietary DTC technology platform, international fulfilment operations and payments infrastructure. In addition, they will be able to access THG’s pool of data.
Matthew Moulding, The Hut Group founder and chief executive, said: “The consumer shift to online continues at pace and a resilient, world class, DTC operation has become a necessity for brands to generate sustainable long-term growth. Through THG Ingenuity’s proprietary technology, brands can leverage our end-to-end capabilities to launch, market and fulfil their product offering at pace and accelerate their international expansion.”
