Thérapie to join the line-up at Meadowhall

Skincare specialist Thérapie Clinic will open a new outlet at the Meadowhall shopping centre this autumn.

Due to launch in October, the brand’s cllinic will offer a range of non-surgical, skin and body treatments.

Meadowhall has seen an increase in the range of beauty services being offered at the centre recently with the arrival of the likes of Barber Barber, iBrow & Beauty, Supercuts and Mint nail and beauty salon.

British Land, Meadowhall’s joint owner, has also been expanding the presence of health and beauty brands with standalone stores from Molton Brown, Neal’s Yard, Urban Decay and L’Occitane.

Many of the retailers joined the centre’s line-up following the completion of its £60 million transformation when over 34 new brands opened stores. Other new openings include Joe Browns, Michael Kors and Nespresso.

Richard Crowther, asset manager for British Land, said: “Thérapie Clinic will provide new treatments to our shoppers and adds to the strong line up of beauty and health brands we have available. By offering more health and beauty services at Meadowhall we’re enhancing the experience of the centre and helping customers have a more enjoyable and convenient visit.”

According to a study by GlobalData in 2017, annual spend per head on health and beauty in the UK is set to rise by £73 to £487 over the next four years, with the total market size reaching almost £27 billion by 2022.
