Holland & Barrett launches non-alcoholic cocktail where customers control the calories

Holland & Barrett has launched a non-alcoholic cocktail where customers can control the calorie content.

Made by botanical drinks specialist Kolibri, the cocktail is available in three flavours: Chill & Cardamom, Strawberry & Basil and Elderflower & Lime. The drinks are free from sugar but the flavour profile and sweetness can be tailored to the consumer’s taste through a patented agave syrup-filled cap.

Featuring 100% natural ingredients, the drinks have a maximum of 40 calories per bottle.

Fiona Davies, Holland & Barrett’s free-from buyer, said: “Although we are a nation of cocktail lovers, one fifth of adults have said that they do not drink alcohol 4, which proves that there is a demand for quality alcohol-free alternatives. At Holland & Barrett, we are excited to stock Kolibri and extend our free-from offering to meet consumer demands.”

The drinks are available in 800 Holland & Barrett stores.
