Boots pilots 10% student discount

Boots UK is piloting a student discount of 10% in its stores and online as it looks to benefit from the value of the student market.

When shopping in-store, students will be able to activate the discount by showing a Boots Advantage Card and a valid NUS card or University/College Student ID at a till point. The discount will then be added to the Boots Advantage Card for all future transactions until the last day of the trial on 31 July. Students shopping online can obtain the discount through a unique code from Student Beans.

On top of the top 10% discount, students will receive four points for every £1 they spend with the Boots Advantage Card.

Helen Normoyle, director of marketing at Boots UK said: “We are excited to announce we have started a student discount trial in-store and online. We recognise the value of the student market and want to help make life a little easier. That’s why, on top of our generous Boots Advantage Card we’re also offering an extra 10% off – whether it’s a Meal Deal to keep hunger at bay, a new look for the weekend or health and beauty essentials we want to help keep students looking and feeling great.”
