Wyevale sells garden centre to Cherry Lane

Wyevale Garden Centres has sold its Podington Garden Centre to Cherry Lane Garden Centre Group.

The sale is expected to be completed by the middle of August.

Nick Rubins, chief executive of QD Group, the owner of Cherry Lane, said: “The acquisition of Podington Garden Centre is another step in the growth and success of Cherry Lane. We are a family run business and are very pleased to welcome the team from Wyevale Garden Centres.”

Earlier this year, Cherry Lane also acquired Barnett Hill Garden Centre from Wyevale.
