Westway Cross to welcome trio of new retailers

M&S Foodhall, JD Sports and EE are to join the line up at Westway Cross Shopping Park in Greenford, West London.

There are also plans for WH Smith to relocate within the scheme while Carphone Warehouse will downsize.

M&S has agreed a new 15-year lease for the current WH Smith unit where it will operate a 14,168 square foot store across the ground and mezzanine floors. In addition, JD Sports will occupy the 5,813 square foot former Brantano store and EE has signed up for a vacant 1,300 square foot unit.

As part of the changes, WH Smith will relocate into a 2,777 square foot store which is currently let to Carphone Warehouse. Meanwhile, Carphone Warehouse will downsize its unit to 2,292 square feet.

Westway Cross Shopping Park was recently extended and now offers 135,634 square feet of retail space across 19 units. Occupiers include Next, Outfit, TK Maxx, Boots, Sports Direct and New Look.

Yasin Sadiq, senior asset manager at Royal London, said: “Westway Cross Shopping Park is one of the foremost out of town schemes within the M25 Greater London region. We are pleased to have secured these five deals which will further enhance the already strong tenant line up.”
