Photobox unveils new headquarters

Photobox Group, the digital consumer service for personalised products and gifts, has opened a new state-of-the-art headquarters in London’s Clerkenwell.

Working with London based design and build firm Oktra, the owner of online personalised greeting card retailer Moonpig has converted former printworks Herbal House into a 37,000 square foot office.

Photobox Group opted to retain and showcase the industrial roots of the site which include features such as exposed concrete walls, pillars and ceilings, and an original crane hanging over the reception area. This contrasts with the clean, modern and colourful design and furnishings used throughout the space.

Spanning four floors, the space includes a dedicated events area that can be viewed from anywhere in the headquarters. The area will be used for company meetings, knowledge-sharing events and meet-ups for the tech and creative industries.

Jody Ford, chief executive of Photobox Group, said: “Our new HQ directly reflects our ambition to deliver amazing experiences for our customers as well as our teams.

“Designing our new space around collaboration and agile-working gives employees the freedom to innovate for our customers and have impact at scale for the business and for their careers. It’s also a new London venue where we hope to share, collaborate and learn with like-minded tech companies and talent.”

The full Cat A and B fit-out of the new headquarters took 20 weeks to complete. Photobox Group has leased the site for an initial ten years.
