Michael Kors appoints Robin Freestone to its board
Michael Kors has appointed former Pearson chief financial officer, Robin Freestone, to its board of directors. The appointment brings the company’s board membership to nine including seven independent directors.
Freestone was chief financial officer at Pearson from 2006 to August 2015, after previously serving as deputy chief financial officer from 2004. Prior to that, he held a number of senior financial positions at Amersham. Henkel Chemicals UK, and ICI/Zeneca Agrochemicals.
Currently, Freestone also serves as a non-executive director of Smith and Nephew and Moneysupermarket.com.
