H&T Group appoints Toni Wood as non-executive director

Toni Wood, the former chief marketing and commercial officer of furniture retailer DFS, has been appointed as a non-executive director of H&T Group.

Due to join H&T’s board on 12 May, she will help the company to strengthen its presence in the digital and marketing space as it looks to grow its core pawnbroking and jewellery retailing sectors.

Wood worked with DFS from 2016 to 2019 and also previously worked as global and digital director at Costa Coffee. She is currently a director of WVC Group and of Ginger Homes.

H&T has also announced that Mark Smith and Elaine Draper will not be standing for re-election to its board and that plans are well advanced to appoint a further non-executive director.
