Appear Here to launch pop-up concept store at London’s Seven Dials

Appear Here, the marketplace for short-term retail space, is opening a pop-up store this month called Give & Receive to showcase independent brands in the run-up to Christmas.

The business has teamed up with Marina Guergova of The Basics Store and Marina London to launch the shop on 8 December in London’s Seven Dials shopping district.

Situated at 40 Earlham Street, the shop will bring together 40 up-and-coming independent designers and will also offer festive food, drinks and creative workshops as it looks to create a Christmas market atmosphere.

Ross Bailey, founder and chief executive of Appear Here, said: “We thought it was time to raise the bar for Christmas shopping and bring together some of our favourite brands in the heart of London. At Appear Here, we believe in creating better experiences in our cities for people to enjoy – Give & Receive will be the perfect culmination of this.”

Products will include fashion items from The Acey, chemical-free candles from EYM, Francesca Gentilli’s vintage Berber rugs, prints by Hôtel Magique, handmade ceramics by KANA, organic hair and beauty products from Glasshouse Salon, and Marina London’s silk clothing, to name just a few.

In addition, Good & Proper Tea will be serving tea and crumpets from its 1974 Citroën-H van and there will also be popcorn on offer from Drum & Kernel and drinks from The Wine Butler.

Addy Williams, senior retail portfolio manager at Shaftesbury, added: “This crafted concept store will offer Christmas shoppers in Seven Dials a distinctive experience in December. Give & Receive brings current and relevant independent brands into Seven Dials, joining the collection of nichè and unique retailers, in London’s West End.”
