Waitrose to invest £10 million in lowering prices of 250 No.1 and Duchy Organic products

Waitrose is investing £10 million in reducing the prices of popular, premium and organic products as part of the first phase of its latest round of price cuts.

The first wave of 130 products include items such as cheese, croissants, sourdough bread, wholemeal flour and pork joints across its No.1 and Duchy Organic ranges.

Charlotte Di Cello, commercial director for Waitrose, said: “Our food loving customers come to Waitrose to experience the very best, from exceptional flavours to the quality of the ingredients we offer.

“This latest investment in prices will include a large number of products across No.1 and our Organic Duchy ranges which we know our customers love.”

The move marks the sixth time that the supermarket has cut prices since February 2023 to take the total investment to £135 million.

The New Lower Prices campaign has seen price cuts on nearly 1,400 products to date.
