Morrisons cuts prices of 160 household favourites

Morrisons has cut the prices of a further 160 popular products in the lead up to Christmas.

The move follows on from the hundreds of reductions that the supermarket made last month.

Items include branded products like Nestlé and Kellogg’s cereals, John West Tuna, Birds Eye Fish Fingers and Heinz Ketchup, as well high volume items such as bacon, bleach and a number of Savers lines.

Prices have also been reduced on a range of festive products including Bisto Gravy Granules, Paxo Sage & Onion Stuffing, and Morrisons Cranberry Sauce.

Morrisons has reduced the prices by an average of 25%.

Alex Paver, pricing and customer director at Morrisons, said: “Customers are continuing to feel the pressure when it comes to managing their weekly shop, which is why we’re determined to keep prices low on the products that matter most.

“By dropping the price on a further 160 items, we’re helping make sure every pound goes further, whether that’s on everyday essentials or family favourites. It’s all part of our ongoing commitment to deliver great value without compromising on quality.”
