Lidl UK launches first free-from range
Lidl UK has launched its first permanent free-from range with prices starting from 79 pence.
Stocked in stores nationwide from this week, the range will feature gluten-free items from Lidl’s own range as well as other popular brands.
Products will include Gluten Free Porridge Oats priced at £1.79, an assortment of Luxury Gluten Free Cookies priced at £1.29, and Gluten Free Spaghetti priced at 99 pence. There is also a Gluten Free Brownie Mix and a variety of Gluten Free Flours, both priced at £1.29.
Richard Inglis, head of food buying at Lidl UK, said: “We’re delighted to add this new free-from food range to our ever-growing food offering. We want to ensure that anyone buying gluten-free doesn’t have to face unnecessarily high costs or compromise on product quality. Staying in tune with the changing needs of our customers is a priority whilst providing a wide range of high quality products that are accessible to everyone.”
