Due to join White Stuff in October, Milton will be responsible for delivering a “consistent customer experience and trading stance” across all the company’s channels including in-store, online, wholesale and marketplaces.

Jo Jenkins, chief executive of White Stuff, said: “We are committed to delivering amazing customer experiences no matter how they choose to shop. Toby’sextensive multichannel experience and proven track record growing international brands will allow us to do this to the very highest standard.”

White Stuff has also announced that total sales edged up 2.6% in the year to 27 April, although profits were hit by more investment in online marketing and higher levels of discounting than planned.
