Samsøe & Samsøe to open first UK flagship store
Danish fashion brand Samsøe & Samsøe is to open its first UK flagship store in London’s Carnaby shopping district this summer.
Due to launch at 47 Beak Street in July, the 1076 square foot store will stock Samsøe & Samsøe’s clothing for men and women together with a range of shoes and accessories.
Peter Sextus, chief executive of Samsøe & Samsøe, said: “We are greatly committed to gaining a strong presence in the UK, as it is a core market for our further growth. Getting the stamp of approval from a global fashion capital and major shopping destination is pivotal for an emerging brand like Samsøe Samsøe.”
Other recent additions to the Carnaby district include Parisian women’s fashion label ba&sh, US outerwear brand Columbia Sportswear and French eyewear company IZIPIZI.
Addy Williams, senior retail portfolio manager at Shaftesbury, said: “Samsøe & Samsøe’s unique and recognisable Scandinavian aesthetic is a great addition to the fashion and lifestyle stores on Beak Street and in Carnaby.
