S. Oliver Group to acquire Copenhagen Studios

German fashion retail group S. Oliver is to acquire casual footwear brand Copenhagen Studios.
The purchase is due to take place this month.
In a statement, S. Oliver Group chief executive Claus-Dietrich Lahrs said: “With Copenhagen and the two founders Julian and Johannes Rellecke, we welcome a brand to our portfolio that is on a promising path not only in Germany but also internationally.”
He added: “We are convinced that they will also succeed with Copenhagen Studios. We believe in the strength of the S. Oliver Group and the agility of Copenhagen.”
S. Oliver’s family of brands include S. Oliver, Q/S by S. Oliver, Comma, Comma Casual Identity and Liebeskind Berlin.
