Jack Wills teams up with BEAR to launch in-store cafe and bar

Fashion retailer Jack Wills has teamed up with Midlands-based independent coffee shop operator BEAR to launch a café and bar in its flagship London store in Soho.

The offering will be BEAR’s first London site. Currently operating stores in Derby, Stone and Uttoxeter, BEAR is looking to launch at up to 30 sites in major cities and market towns over the next five years.

Opening daily from 7.30am until 8pm, the BEAR coffee shop in the Jack Wills store will serve a selection of sustainably-sourced speciality coffees, fresh bakes, craft beer and cocktails.

Craig Bunting, co-founder of BEAR said: “We’re really excited to be launching our first London store in partnership with Jack Wills. There is a clear correlation between BEAR and Jack Wills in terms of style and vision, and the diverse customer range that Jack Wills attracts reflects our own audience. We believe that our brands align perfectly – creating memorable in-store experiences lies at the heart of our collective core values.”

With statistics showing that approximately 55 million cups of coffee per day are consumed in the UK, Jack Wills is understood to be looking to create a new experience in-store to meet the needs of customers and their changing shopping habits.
