H&M to launch fashion collection with Héctor Bellerín.

H&M is to launch a new fashion collection with Spanish footballer Héctor Bellerín.

Due to be available online and in selected stores from 18 February, Edition by Héctor Bellerín will be made entirely from sustainably sourced materials. The range will include a parka and boxy blazer as well as a cotton poplin shirt, relaxed pants, knitted shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts and tees, some of which will be printed with slogans such as Live With Purpose and To Protect Our Future Together.

H&M said Bellerín, who is also known for his commitment to the environment, was involved in every stage of the design process. In addition, he was keen for pieces to be made from single materials, where possible, to make them easier to recycle.

Ross Lydon, head of menswear design at H&M, said: “Héctor Bellerín is a leader of the generation that’s redefining men’s style and advocating for positive change. Everyone at H&M is so happy to collaborate with Héctor to create Edition by Héctor Bellerín, a true sustainable collection for men.”

Materials used include cotton that is organic or recycled from textile production waste, recycled nylons and polyesters, and viscose fibres from sustainable sources.
