Amazon to open fashion pop-up

Amazon Fashion is to open its first UK pop-up store in London later this month.

Situated in Baker Street, the store will open from 23 to 27 October and will change its range of fashion items for men and women every other day.

Susan Saideman, Amazon Fashion vice president for Europe, said: “We are extremely excited to be opening our first ever UK pop-up store for fashion. We have curated a selection of top brands and key fashion items, which we think our customers will love, all of which can be purchased virtually through the Amazon app or physically in store. With the ongoing schedule of activities taking place throughout the week, we hope our pop-up shop will be an exciting and inspiring way to shop for fashion.”

The store will host a variety of events and special activities with Pepe Jeans denim customisation taking place on the first night with a DJ performance from Charlotte de Carle. This will be followed on the second night by a beauty oriented event featuring a panel discussion hosted by Vogue beauty and lifestyle director Jessica Diner. On other days there will be yoga sessions from Ella Mills and acoustic sets from Tom Grennan and NAO.

Customers will be able to purchase all products in-store, or virtually using Amazon’s ‘SmileCode’ scanning technology via the Amazon mobile app. Amazon Fire tablets will also be available to enable customers to see the entire range for the week.
