All Inditex brands to be selling online by 2020

Zara owner Inditex has said it will be selling all of its brands online anywhere in the world by 2020.

Other brands within the Inditex portfolio include Massimo Dutti, Pull & Bear, Bershka, Oysho, Stradivarius, Zara Home and Uterqüe.

Pablo Isla, the group’s chairman and chief executive, made the announcement at an event to mark the reopening of Zara’s flagship store on Corso Vittorio Emanuele in Milan.

Isla said: “We want to make our fashion collections available to all our customers, wherever they are in the world, even in those markets which do not currently have our bricks-and-mortar stores.”

He also said that all brands will adopt the group’s integrated stock management system by 2020 in the countries where they have a physical store presence. To date, integrated stock management is in place in Zara stores in 25 markets, including Spain, France, Italy, China, the US, the UK and Mexico.

Inditex currently has stores in 96 markets and operates online in 49 markets.
