Selling to Russia seminar

Second Selling to Russia seminar being staged by UK Fashion Exports

Following the success of the first Selling to Russia seminar organised by UK Fashion Exports (UKFE) last year, a second event is being arranged on Wednesday 25 March 2009 from 4pm to 6pm at 5 Portland Place, London W1. “Selling to Russia is designed to help companies - suppliers and retailers - make informed decisions about selling to, and in, one of the most dynamic fashion markets,” says Paul Alger, executive director, UKFE. “Our speakers will provide an overview of the political, economic and retail outlook, an insight into how to conduct business in this complex economy and also reveal the secrets of some of the recent success stories.”

Speakers will include Ged Keogh-Peters, head of strategy at Kurt Salmon Associates, Audrey Simonetta of Place Rouge, an agent for many European brands in Russia, and Paul Alger, who has been helping UK designer fashion companies to formulate a strategy for this market since the early 1990s and is an acknowledged authority on the region.

UK Fashion Exports is the export division of the British Clothing Industry Association (BCIA).

Cost is £50 plus VAT for UKFE/BCIA members; £100 plus VAT for non-members.

Further information and a booking form can be found at ukfashionexports.com or email paul.alger@ukfashionexports.com. Tel: 020 7636 5577.
