RSPCA brand launches children's fashion range
RSPCA Perfect Pets has launched a fashion range which will be stocked by UK retailers, New Look, Woolworths, Tammy Girl and Bhs.
The brand, set up by the animal welfare charity to promote responsible pet ownership to children, is aiming the range of quality clothing and accessories at girls aged 6 to 13.
Developed by the RSPCA and licensing and merchandising agency Licensing By Design, RSPCA Perfect Pets promotes responsible pet ownership in a fun and educational way, while also raising money for the charity.The brand focuses on cute and loveable animal characters including Bob the dog and Lucky the cat. Each animal has their own storyline, adding depth to the characters.
Woolworths buyer Julie Thomsett said: "We have had a fantastic response from our customers to the range of RSPCA Perfect Pets products we stock in stores throughout the UK.
"The new sock range combines quality and good value. Children and parents alike have responded to the positive message of the brand."
Patrick Bailey, commercial director at Samuel Eden, the UK's largest licensed character sock manufacturer, said: "We produce character sock ranges for Disney and The Simpsons, among others, and RSPCA Perfect Pets are proving hugely popular with retailers and customers alike."
In addition to the new fashion range, RSPCA Perfect Pets merchandise is extended across bean toys, playsets, bedding, illustrated storybooks, toiletries, greeting cards, stationery, and collectibles.
