Retail Bulletin appoints new Editor
Matthew Valentine

Retail Bulletin, the dedicated website for the fast-moving retail industry, has appointed Matthew Valentine as its new editor.

Previously editor of In-Store, the magazine for retail marketing and design, Valentine has also worked as a journalist at Retail Week, and as retail correspondent and news editor at Design Week, as well as writing for titles including Marketing Week. He will help steer Retail Bulletin through the next stage of its development, introducing a deeper level of analysis as well as growing coverage of areas such as marketing and design.

“Retail Bulletin has led the way in showing that online coverage of the industry is the way forward, giving it the pace to keep up with a sector that never slows down. I'm looking forward to working with the team to find even more ways to give Retail Bulletin's readers the news they need,” says Valentine, who has worked with many of the Bulletin's key team members before.

“It will be good for us to work together again,” says Retail Bulletin city editor Glynn Davis, a former In-Store columnist who has been key in RB's development. Davis will continue to provide his coverage of the financial state of the UK retail industry.

Current Editor, Mark Higgins, will move across to work on the redesign and relaunch of a recent acquisition in the retail technology arena - more details on that soon !
