Ravensthorpe shopping park 85% full and set to regenerate town

Opening this month Errigal's Ravensthorpe Shopping Park in Ravensthorpe, Dewsbury is set to add a new lease of life to the town centre

The 45,000 sq ft (4,180 sq m) scheme will create a new focal point to the town and help to enhance an area in need of regeneration. Already at 85% pre-let, the park will substantially strengthen the existing retail offer in Ravensthorpe with tenants such as Au Naturale, Home Bargain, In-Store, Greggs, Subway and Netto.

David Harrison, from Errigal, comments “We are very pleased to be able to make a positive contribution to the regeneration of Ravensthorpe through the establishment of a high quality new shopping park, which will provide a new retail hub for the town.”

Steve Henderson, associate director at Savills, the letting agents at the scheme, adds: “Ravensthorpe Shopping Park will completely transform the town centre and dramatically improve an area that has been long in need of regeneration.

“The scheme has been strategically designed to incorporate large box units that have appealed to a wide range of established retailers which will not only help to raise the profile of the town, but also drive a good footfall to the scheme.”
