Raft of new lettings for Manchester Arndale
Manchester Arndale's joint owners Intu and M&G Real Estate have secured a raft of new lettings at the shopping centre.
Fashion retailer Miss Selfridge has taken a 1,700 square foot store within a unit currently leased to its parent company Arcadia.
Other brands to debut at the shopping centre include Lindt and Radley, both of which are opening 1,000 square foot stores, and Fruitero which is taking a 150 square foot unit.
With only eight other stores in total across the UK, all of which are in factory outlets, Lindt’s letting at Manchester Arndale will be the brand’s first shopping centre opening.
Kannika Mall, asset manager at M&G Real Estate, said: “Manchester’s status as one of the UK’s leading retail hotspots is firmly in place and, with an annual footfall of approximately 41 million, Manchester Arndale is central to this success. We have welcomed many UK and international brands in 2015 and we expect continued interest in the few available units this year.”
In addition to the new brands, Costa has taken a further store at 28 Market Street while Hotel Chocolat has relocated to a 1,100 square foot unit.
