Passion for Perfume calls in administrators

Passion for Perfume has gone into administration.
The companies shareholders decided to stop providing funding for the loss-making business in summer 2008, even though the business was expected to break even, and a closing down sale began in December.
Administrators from Deloitte are understood to have received approaches for a number of the stores and for the company's website.Passion for Perfume has 180 staff working in 44 branches.
