Park Group confident of maintaining growth

Park Group, the multi-retailer, multi-channel gift voucher and prepaid gift card provider, has said it is confident that its recent growth will be maintained in the current financial year ending 31 March.

In a trading update ahead of its preliminary results announcement on 9 June, the group said the encouraging trading levels reported in December 2014 had continued throughout the second half of the year, underpinned by strong sales throughout the Christmas period across all of the company’s operations.

Park Group’s consumer business had a successful festive season and sales for the year grew by more than 8% year-on-year.

The group said early orders for Christmas 2015 are well ahead of the equivalent period last year. Park’s corporate business, which supplies incentive and reward products, has also performed well.

The online business, which supplies gift vouchers and prepaid gift cards direct to customers, has seen its sales grow by more than 25%.

Park Group said: “Park’s financial position remains strong with cash balances well ahead of last year.

“Early indications from both our consumer and corporate businesses are encouraging and give us confidence that growth will be maintained in 2015.”
