New site for short lets
Archived article dated Tuesday June 16th 2009

A new website is aiming to link up new and independent retailers with the landlords of empty properties, to help both parties make the most of the glut of available units via short term lets.
Popupspace gives access to a nationwide database of available store sites. It provides free advertising to letting agents and landlords, as well as letting retailers list their requirements.
“The property market is giving start-up businesses and independent retailers the chance to trade in prime locations on flexible terms, often at bargain rents,” says Rosie Cann of Popupspace. “However, until now they might have found it hard work to source short term lets. Popupspace.com enables them to search in one place for vacant units and provides landlords with a solution to marketing short term retail lets to a large audience.”
