Missguided to reward brand sharing with referral scheme

Fashion brand Missguided is launching a new refer-a-friend programme this week.

Working with Mention Me, Missguided is giving customers a platform where users can share their positive experiences of the brand as it looks to drive new customer acquisition.

Nicola Fox, head of CRM at Missguided, said: “We are constantly looking at how we can engage with our customers in their online journey. Having recently launched online reviews, referrals is the obvious next step to capitalise on our positive brand sentiment.”

The move means that when Missguided’s customers chat about their latest purchase they can tell their friends to enter their name at the checkout to receive an offer.

Andy Cockburn, chief executive of Mention Me, said “Missguided has a loyal engaged customer base, so referrals should naturally form a growing part of their marketing mix.”
