Liberty makes two senior promotions

Department store Liberty has promoted head of collaborations Scott Tepper to the role of fashion buying and merchandising director.

Prior to joining Liberty in 2014, Tepper was head of luxury at Kurt Geiger. In his new role, he will succeed Stephen Ayres who left the business earlier this month.

Tepper’s responsibilities will include working alongside the Liberty Art Fabrics team to identify and create future collaboration projects. He will also work closely with Liberty managing director Ed Burstell and the buying and merchandising team as the business looks to grow its fashion offering.

In a second promotion, Liberty’s head of beauty and accessories Gina Ritchie has taken on the role of buying director for beauty, jewellery and accessories.

Ritchie is a former beauty buyer for Harrods and assistant beauty buyer for Harvey Nichols.
