LeapFrog appoints chief international officer

Educational entertainment brand LeapFrog has appointed Antony Hicks as chief international officer.

In his new role, Hicks will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and management to international operations as LeapFrog grows its international businesses and enters new markets.

LeapFrog chief executive John Barbour said: “We are thrilled to welcome such an experienced and well-respected international management veteran to our LeapFrog team. Tony comes to us with more than 20 years of leadership experience overseeing international growth and expansion for some of the most respected and recognised global companies.”

Prior to joining LeapFrog, Hicks was chief executive officer for Indochina at The Carlsberg Group where he was responsible for leading the company’s Indochina region. His previous roles also include managing director and chief commercial officer, Asia Pacific for Molson Coors Brewing Company.

Hicks said: “LeapFrog’s mission to help children achieve their potential by providing the best educational entertainment experiences is inspiring. I am looking forward to identifying and growing international opportunities which will extend the reach of this vision and result in strong global growth for the LeapFrog brand.”
