Joules to debut in Milton Keynes

Lifestyle clothing brand Joules is to open a new store at Centre:mk in Milton Keynes.

Due to launch in late 2015, the 4,578 square foot store will be set across two floors and will be situated in Centre:mk’s premium quarter on Sunset Walk, adjacent to Jigsaw.

Joules founder and chief executive, Tom Joule, said: “We wanted a stand-out location within the Milton Keynes area and Centre:mk offered the right environment for our brand. We’re really looking forward to bringing out unique personality and style to shoppers in time for Christmas!”

Established in Market Harborough in 1989, Joules now has 99 stores across the UK with products also available through its online, catalogue, wholesale and licensing channels.

The addition of Joules at Centre:mk follows a number of new lettings over the past year. These includes regional flagships for Cath Kidston, The White Company, Jigsaw and soon to open Smiggle, as well as stores for Menkind and Tiger.

Ed Sellick, asset manager at Hermes Investment Management, said: “The addition of Joules to our line up on Sunset Walk is great news for Centre:mk. The popular British brand is a prime example of how our offer is continually growing stronger especially due to its family appeal, which was particularly important for our regional catchment and is in line with our long term strategy for Centre:mk.”
