Jigsaw to open Milton Keynes store

Jigsaw, the clothing and accessories brand, is to open a 2,656 square foot store at Centre:mk in Milton Keynes.

Situated on Silbury Arcade, adjacent to Kurt Geiger, House of Fraser and The White Company, the new store will trade from two floors and stock Jigsaw’s full range of clothing and accessories.  This will include ranges for women, men and children as well as limited edition ranges, such as the current collaboration with William Morris Galleries for AW14.

Due to open in December, the store will feature a design inspired by the brand’s Duke Street Emporium, which launched in April, and will include a café.

Jigsaw chief executive Peter Ruis said: “We have been seeking a flagship store in the Milton Keynes region, and the Centre:mk in particular, for some time, having traded consistently well from within John Lewis.

“The Centre:mk is perfect as it offers the best of both worlds for Jigsaw, combining the ability to serve a large metropolitan population with a genuine regional draw.”

Speaking on behalf of Centre:mk’s joint owners, Hermes Real Estate and AustralianSuper, Ed Sellick said: “Jigsaw is another fantastic addition to the Centre:mk. The brand has a significant following in the catchment, and their arrival at Centre:mk means visitors will no longer have to travel outside the region to shop at Jigsaw.”

The announcement follows the arrival of The White Company and Cath Kidston on Centre:mk’s Silbury Arcade earlier this year.
