Intelligent Retail, the multichannel retail company, premieres at Retail Solutions
Intelligent Retail will be demonstrating its 'Connect' line of Multichannel EPoS systems at Retail Solutions for the first time.
Developed 6 years ago, Connect is the first fully integrated multichannel solution aimed at small to mid-sized UK reta il chains.Connect enables retailers to sell in-store, online or through mail order from a central location or across multiple stores all from a single stock control system. It is based on Java giving it platform independence and it uses Open Source software for resilience and affordability.
Connect allows high street retailers to offer a modern multichannel shopping experience for their customers in the simplest way. Saswa is an independent retailer in Cardiff. They implemented the system and within the first year revenues had increased by 115% from increased shop sales as well as new online sales. They have also reduced stock holding in the process. The best thing is that because this system is so simple, no additional labour costs were incurred through these changes and growth of the business.
