GAME Digital names Guy Lister as chief operating officer
GAME Digital has appointed Office Shoes executive Guy Lister as chief operating officer.
In the newly created role, Lister will lead all areas of GAME Digital’s UK retail operations, including stores and ecommerce, supply chain, marketing and the finance function. He will report directly to GAME Digital chief executive Martyn Gibbs.
Lister has worked as chief customer and marketing officer at Office Shoes since 2014 and prior to that held senior executive roles at New Look, River Island and Marks and Spencer.
Gibbs said: “GAME Digital has ambitious plans to build and support gaming communities through retail, eSports, local competitive gaming, events and digital solutions. Guy has the experience to lead the continued development of our UK multi-channel offer and drive forward a key pillar of our future growth strategy. I’m delighted to welcome him to the team.”
