Forever 21 to open flagship store at Lakeside
US fashion giant Forever 21 is to open a flagship store at Lakeside shopping centre in Essex tomorrow.
Forever 21's new store, its sixth in the UK, will occupy more than 28,600 square feet of retail space covering three floors. The space has been created by taking units formerly occupied by Topshop and Topman and adding two new retail levels to create a three-level flagship store for the fashion brand. Linda Chang, global marketing director for Forever 21, said: "Forever 21 is always looking for unique retail spaces to complement the brand. We are excited to open a store at Lakeside shopping centre where we will be able to offer all of the latest trends to Lakeside’s most fashionable shoppers in more than 28,600 square feet of retail space."Topshop and Topman relocated in the centre last year, opening a new top ten flagship 31,500 sq ft store in part of a former BHS unit while BHS opened a new generation store on the lower level. Other retailers who have recently opened stores at Lakeside include Specsavers and Schuh.
