Eurostop announces Multi-Channel Retail capabilities at Retail Solutions

Archived article dated Monday April 14th 2008

Eurostop, a specialist supplier of retail systems to the Apparel, Footwear and General Merchandise sector will be launching its new Multi-Channel Retailing services.

Eurostop is now able to provide full integration services to provide an end to end system for any size retailer. Additionally, Eurostop will be demonstrating the latest versions of its EPOS, stock control, retail management systems, customer loyalty and its ready-to-go e-commerce solutions.

Drawing on its 18 years of experience supplying retail systems to the fashion and footwear sector, Eurostop is now able to provide integration services. Eurostop enables retailers to benefit from linking their EPOS, stock management, and retail management systems with their warehouse, mail order, wholesale and accounting packages. Eurostop will also be demonstrating its 'ready-to-go' e-commerce solution which has been designed specifically with independent retailers in mind, where the resources to run such systems may be scarce. Eurostop's e-commerce solution is fully integrated with the other systems, WinRMIS, Eurostop's retail management system and WinPOS, its EPOS system, which are able to process sales and stock information enabling retailers to see a true representation of their business at any time. This brings huge economies both when setting up the new website and with ongoing management. Once product details are set up in the head office system WinRMIS, they can be published on the website via user defined parameters, for instance publish selected items with specific colour and sizes and remove any items with less than five in stock. The real time processing for sales and stock data means that the online store is able to draw from the same stock pool as the bricks and mortar stores, without any fear of over selling. The e*#*8209;commerce system may also be integrated with the retailer's mail order, wholesale and accounting packages.

The system will include all the customer service functionality that consumers have grown to expect from the large online retailers, like automated order acknowledgements, order tracking including notification of order despatch. Customer loyalty data will be shared between the branches and the online store, so that people that purchase both online and in store receive personalised correspondence rather than disparate, impersonal mailings with lots of different special offers and promotions. There is also a comprehensive order management system that handles despatches, returns, exchanges, refunds etc. In line with its continued expansion into International markets, Eurostop's systems are now available in a multi-lingual format. All Eurostop solutions are available to purchase on a licensing or rental basis.
